A few years ago, I tried Rogue for the first time. I’d heard about them quite a few times, as they have been one of the earliest sold brands of nicotine pouches in the US. Rogue is intriguing! It comes in a full, regular sized can, almost resembling the size of an American dip can. However, this product is completely tobacco-free. The pouches, also, are not the mini/dry type like others sold in the US. They’re regular sized, moist, and quite soft. Today, we’re checking out the very American flavor of Wintergreen with Rogue Wintergreen 3mg and Rogue Wintergreen 6mg!

Product Specifics:
Can Weight: 13.5 grams
Portion Format: Slim Nicotine Pouches
Portion Count: 20 pouches
Portion Weight: 0.675 grams each
Nicotine Strength: 3mg and 6mg

Opening the can, I notice the wintergreen aroma isn’t a carbon copy of every other one out there, it’s quite different. I do smell mild tones of wintergreen in the mix, but it’s much, much sweeter than others I’ve encountered before. It’s almost a mint/wintergreen hybrid. The pouches are quite soft, and moist. They feel comfortable under the lip, as they aren’t as dry as others out there. They also come with a subtle cooling presence, a common attribute of the mint category. The flavor is much sweeter than other wintergreen products I’ve had before. It’s a gentle, but present taste of wintergreen. It also seems to have a little bit of mint kicking around in the mix. But, it is definitely a lot sweeter than I anticipated. The flavor hangs out for about 35-40 minutes or so, on average. In the strength, the 3mg one is lighter. This is one for those who have lighter nicotine cravings. The 6mg one is a little stronger, feeling closer to the regular strength mark.
Wrap-Up & Recommendation:
If you’ve never had Rogue before, it’s an interesting line! It’s been around a while, and has quite a few flavors available, with different strengths for each flavor. You have your standard flavors, but they also have more unique ones, such as mango. If you’re a wintergreen fan, you may want to try this one as it is a little different than others out there.
Snubie’s Opinion:
For me, this one was a little sweeter than I prefer. For example, I find Zyn’s Wintergreen to be just about the right amount of sweetness for a wintergreen. However, I think people who like a more minty taste will probably enjoy this one, as it seems to be a hybrid mint/wintergreen, but on the sweeter side.
